Most journals for which Sidra has a subscription do not require a log in when accessing on site. If you are accessing from outside the hospital network, you will be prompted to enter your usual Sidra log in credentials.

Some e-books require setup of a free individual account in order to download or print. Look for the  symbol next to the book title for more information.

Using resources from the Qatar National Library

Access to some journals is provided to us through our resource sharing agreement with the Qatar National Library and some will prompt you to log in with the credentials provided to you from QNL.

To apply for a QNL log in, please visit their website and complete the online form.

QNL resources requiring log in are identified with a prompt when you hover over the title so you know before you click that you will need your QNL credentials.

Would you like to access UpToDate anywhere, including from your mobile device? To set up your UpToDate access, please follow these steps:

1. Visit the UpToDate registration form from any computer connected directly to the hospital IT network

2. Fill in the form with your details to set up your account

Please note it is necessary to register from a Sidra network connected computer. Once your account is created, you can use your username and password to access full content from any computer anywhere or in the UpToDate app on all your mobile devices.
